Privacy Policy – GCOS Media Publisher

Effective date: September 3, 2026

GCOS Media Publisher is an internal content approval and Facebook Page publishing application operated by Global Consultancy Co., Ltd. in Cambodia. It is used by authorized company staff to review, approve, schedule, publish, and verify company-created content on the company’s own Facebook Page.

1. Information We May Receive from Meta

Depending on the permissions granted to the application, GCOS Media Publisher may receive or process:

  • Basic profile information made available through Meta authentication, such as public profile information.
  • A list of Facebook Pages the authorized user manages.
  • Facebook Page identifiers, Page name, and related Page information.
  • Page posts, photos, captions, post IDs, publication status, and related publishing metadata.
  • Page engagement information and post-level metadata where permitted.
  • Access tokens or authorization credentials needed to perform approved Page-management actions.

2. How We Use Meta Platform Data

We use Meta Platform Data only for legitimate internal business purposes, including:

  • Authenticating authorized Global Consultancy staff.
  • Identifying the company Facebook Page that the authorized user manages.
  • Creating, scheduling, publishing, editing, or deleting company Page posts when an authorized user directs the application to do so.
  • Checking whether a scheduled post was accepted, published, or encountered an error.
  • Reading Page or post information needed for publication verification, reporting, or operational review.
  • Maintaining internal records of content approvals and publishing activity.

GCOS Media Publisher does not use Meta Platform Data for advertising profiling, data brokerage, or unrelated marketing purposes.

3. Internal Three-Gate Approval Process

Our publishing workflow requires human authorization before a Facebook post is scheduled:

  1. Approve the content.
  2. Approve the final poster.
  3. Approve the caption and schedule the post.

The application is designed so that content is not intentionally scheduled to Facebook until the required human approvals have been completed.

4. Data Storage and Security

Operational records may be stored in private Google Workspace resources used by Global Consultancy, including Google Sheets, Google Drive, and Google Apps Script. Access credentials such as Facebook Page access tokens are stored in private server-side configuration and are not intended to be exposed publicly.

Access to GCOS Media Publisher and its operational records is limited to authorized personnel. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell Meta Platform Data. We do not provide Meta Platform Data to advertisers or data brokers. Data may be processed by service providers that support the operation of our internal system, such as Google Workspace, only as necessary to operate the application and subject to their applicable terms.

6. Data Retention

We retain operational records only for as long as reasonably necessary for business operations, auditability, security, troubleshooting, or applicable legal and compliance obligations. Access credentials are removed or replaced when they are no longer required or when access is revoked.

7. Data Deletion Requests

A person who has authorized access through Meta may request deletion of data associated with that authorization. Requests should be sent to: sopanha@global-consultancy.biz.

Please include enough information for us to identify the relevant authorization or Page relationship. After verifying the request, we will delete or anonymize data that we are not required to retain for legal, security, or legitimate business-record purposes, and we will revoke or remove stored access credentials where applicable.

8. Revoking Meta Access

Authorized users may also revoke the application’s access through their Meta/Facebook account or business settings. Once access is revoked, GCOS Media Publisher will no longer be able to perform Page-management actions using that authorization.

9. Children

GCOS Media Publisher is a business administration tool and is not directed to children.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the application, Meta requirements, or our internal processes change. The current version will be made publicly available at the same or an updated URL.
